Fernie Youth Is a comprehensive program for young men after the age of 18. These young men know that their old community, their old “friends”and their old thinking will get them nothing but trouble, only now as adults. They face a number of challenges.
We house, hire, train and support 4 young men throughout one year. Our free service to local churches includes lawn, garden and property maintenance.
We provide weekly training in life skills and counselling on emotional wellbeing. We provide lifelong alumni support and inclusion in our Fernie Community, but most of all we build character.
