When a cold night turns into a warm celebration of community and impact, Fernie Youth Services and our partnered communities can truly feel the difference.

On February 28, 2026, we were delighted to see both past and new supporters come together for Coldest Night of the Year. Our community showed up in full force. Thanks to our supporters from our community, Starbucks Rylander, Port Union Bakery, and the food team volunteers led by Mick, the night ran smoothly and filled with warmth.

Events like this are built from the ground up – and community is the foundation that makes it all possible.

As we host our 6th year of Coldest Night of the Year, we reflect on the expanded needs of youth we serve. They need brave spaces, caring relationships, belonging, and a community that shows up for them. As we move forward in the new year, we will continue to cultivate a system where youth can rely on every day to feel supported, connected, and hopeful about their future.

Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, volunteered, and shared purpose with us.

If you’re interested in supporting future events, volunteering, or learning more about our work, we would love to hear from you and welcome you into our community!
